Meet Michael Monk
With over 30 years of experience in broadcasting, storytelling, and media, I have dedicated my career to uncovering and preserving the stories that matter most.
My journey began in the late 1980s at Moray Firth Radio in the Highlands of
Scotland, and since then, my passion for storytelling has taken me around the world - meeting extraordinary people, learning about diverse cultures, and developing a deep appreciation for the power of personal history.
I have worked across radio broadcasting, journalism, public relations, marketing,event management, and film production, always striving to connect people andideas through storytelling.
I created Story Heard because I’ve seen firsthand how many stories are lost forever when they aren’t recorded.
